In case you haven't met us yet, we are the ones who are dressed a little too nice and traveling in packs around the office. Feel free to poke your head in our sauna, I mean room, and say hi! We don't bite. Well, except Kyle. We are working on that. Oh and on a side note, if you see us wandering aimlessly around your floor and think we might be lost, we are. Please help.

You can call us interns, minions or whatever you like really. We refer to ourselves as the Adstronauts. You may be thinking that's too punny. It's not. We could have been the Unidentified Flying Interns (my personal favorite).

Without further ado, I am honored to present the Launchpad Interns for this session. We are taking one small step for ads and one giant leap for adkind. (Told you we like puns).

Lauren Griffith

Hi, I'm Lauren and I am one of the Account Managers for this session. I love learning new things and exploring different ideas. I love to read and can frequently be found with a new favorite book by the pool or in a coffee shop. I am always excited for new adventures. I enjoy day trips and recently travelled abroad in Germany. I value understanding different people and cultures. This is what drew me to Account Management; our solutions are client-driven, so part of my job is to be a brand expert.

Jenny Ochu

Hello internet! I'm Jenny, and I'm the strategist for the first session. I have two addictions in my life: online shopping and Grey's Anatomy. Just ask my roommate, who happens to share those two addictions with me. I love winter and everything about it: snow, skiing, ice skating, and yes, even the cold, which is probably why I ended up attending college in the frozen tundra that is Minnesota.

Taylor Orebaugh

Hey guys, I'm Taylor the copywriter. My two greatest passions in life are dogs and writing, in that order. Trust me, if you show me a dog video I might cry. When I'm not sobbing over the perfection of pups, I'm writing copy for ads. The taglines, the slogans, you name it, I'll write it. I'm a big fan of puns, no matter how corny, so watch out, I'm pretty punny. See I just did it write there. Oh look, I'm on a roll. Anyway, Launchpad has been a great experience so far in challenging me pun way or another (whoops). Seriously though, the best internship you can find, and I can't wait to continue using all of the tools I've already gained here.

Kyle McGowan

Hi, I'm Kyle and I am the Art Director for this session of Launchpad. Not only am I working on smiling for photos, I am also working on writing my bio for the blog so that Sydney doesn't have to write weird things to fill the void.

Zach Lamb

Greetings! I'm Zach and I'm the Media Strategist for this session of Launchpad. In addition to this internship, I am also Drake's ghostwriter and I co-founded Netflix. (jk but wouldn't that be tight?) When people ask me what I bring to the table, I usually say "napkins" because I'm kind of a mess. Anyway, I'm super excited to "strategize the media" and I'm really looking forward to learning a lot from my mentors and teammates over the next few weeks!

Madison Williams

Hello! I'm Madison and I am one of the Account Managers. To me, advertising is a lot like golf; the bad shots are frustrating, but the great ones are what keep you coming back. This is why I always love seeing how a project turns out. When I am not in the office you can typically find me at one of two places, the golf course or a lake. I like to consider myself a simple person who just wants to relax and enjoy a nice cold beer, which is always in hand at the gold course or lake.

Sydney Boxell

Hey I'm Sydney and I am the Content Manager for this session. I like long walks on the beach with a burger in my hand. I am a caffeine junkie, so you will most likely see me with a cup of coffee in tow. I'm not afraid to put myself in awkward situations and there is a slight chance, given the opportunity, that I will embarrass you at some point. (Just ask my fellow interns about that time I joined a college tour I wasn't a part of). Anyway, this blog is my baby which means you'll be hearing more from me later about everything that is going on at HLK during our six weeks here!
