As the first team of HLK interns to form during a pandemic, we are literally home-bound as we take on this remote internship, but we are also journey-bound. Traversing through the unknown can be intimidating, but we have the distinct pleasure to take on this chapter as a team. Forward together.

Favorite food: Kodiak Blueberry Waffles are my current obsession.
School: Arizona State University.
Why HLK? I’m a huge fan of HLK’s work and mission, and I’m eager to work in a collaborative team environment.
Nicknames: My family calls me Lexi and/or songbird (because younger me was convinced I was living in a musical Disney film).
Hobbies: I spend my free time singing and doing DIY home projects/renovations.
Superpower: I would choose the classic superpower ability of flight - I could save money on gas and see some amazing views, so it’s a double win.

Favorite food: Pad Thai.
School: University of Missouri.
Why HLK? I applied to HLK because I heard amazing things about the internship program and love the work HLK has done in the past. I want to be a part of a team that is dedicated to creating meaningful work, and HLK does just that!
Nicknames: I put Isabella on all my work and for official stuff, but I go by Bella.
Hobbies: In my free time, I love painting, listening to music, drinking fun coffee and watching movies with my friends.
Superpower: I would want to have the ability to freeze time so I’d have more time in the day!

Favorite food: Sushi.
School: Columbia College.
Why HLK? I am always looking for opportunities to learn and grow as a communications professional. HLK’s internship program would allow me to gain this experience while being able to be part of a team.
Nicknames: Mich, Chelly.
Hobbies: I like to draw, workout, practice guitar, hang out with friends, and play video games.
Superpower: Invisibility.

School: University of Missouri.
Why HLK? I had such a great experience with the people I spoke to from HLK at our career fair, they were so easy to talk to and really portrayed the balance of great culture and professionalism well.
Nicknames: None, just go by Ashton.
Hobbies: I love spending time outside, specifically riding my bike.
Superpower: Teleportation, most definitely.

Why HLK? For the opportunity to learn and grow my skills in a real agency atmosphere and gain knowledge about working in the marketing world overall.
Nicknames: My friends call me Lo.
Hobbies: Ooh, I love to run, cook and really enjoy being with my friends whether it’s going out or staying in. Lately due to the lovely corona quarantine, I have also become apt to learning Tik Tok dances.
Superpower: Time travel for SURE.

Favorite food: Sweet potato fries.
School: DePauw University
Why HLK? I applied for HLK’s internship because I want to expand my knowledge in the digital media world. I also applied for this internship to get hands-on experience and learn from the amazing professionals at HLK.

Hobbies: I enjoy working out, hanging out with my friends and drinking coffee.
Superpower: I love to travel, so my superpower would be teleportation.
