Chapter 6: A Photo Finish
With our final week upon us, we knew we had to finish strong – not only with our Diamond campaign, but with the internship altogether. Over these past six weeks, we’ve learned a LOT. Like, a lot LOT.
Besides gaining valuable industry experience and campaign knowledge, we learned interpersonal communication and how to manage work-life balance. We faced many challenges over the course of our campaign: losing a team member, the flu, sinus infections, and the dreaded start-of-August-college-move-in period. Despite all this, we finished strong and put together a rockin’ campaign.
The first half of our final day was filled with excited anxiety – adding finishing touches to our campaign, practicing our pitch, and cleaning up our deck. The second half was bittersweet – goodbyes to our mentors and other friends we’ve made along the way.
So, for one last time…
